| wow, i haven't posted in...a long time
sooooo, 6 more days of official school...and 2 weeks till we GRADUATE.
yes, graduate. it's amazing how fast time flies. i swear, it was just
yesterday that we were clueless freshmen walking onto the unfamiliar
grounds of MV...it's been 4 years already, 4 awesome years. well, the
clueless part hasn't changed much for me, but besides that, i think
we've all come a long way from that first day as a freshmen. so
many memories (i'll probably dedicate a whole post to that later when i
don't have lit and physics that i should be doing right now) we have 2
weeks left till we part our ways. let's make the last 2 weeks count :)
since i don't feel like calculating current and voltage on my
irresistable physics worksheet, i'll list out some songs i'm currently
in love with:
Jasmine Leong - Yan Wei Die
Jolin Tsai - Bu La Ge Guang Chang
LeAnn Rimes - Can't Fight the Moonlight
Lee Ann Womack - I Hope You Dance
Wang Leehom - Kiss Goodbye
Michael Buble - Home
Nick Lachey - What's Left of Me
Nickelback - Savin' Me
S.H.E. - Yue Gui Nu Shen
Twins - Xing Guang You Le Yuan
Wang Lan Yin - E Zuo Ju
Z Chen - So Far Away
Tension - Our Story :)
ok, 8 out of the 13 songs are chinese. yay for chinese songs!
yes, i will get back to work now

im excitedddd! =]
and don't ask me why i'm up at 6:36am on a saturday morning...let's
just say...i already got more than 10 hours of sleep...im sure you can
figure it out from there =P
edit://
i am officially addicted to "our story" by tension...omg, i think i
played it at least 50 times today...at least...wowww, it's amazing how
happy this song can make me, lol

| yayy...back from visiting cornell and upenn! ahhh, that was sooo funnn
=] well, besides hanging out with the annoying sister 24/7 for 5
days..but hey, it was worth it! pictures will be on facebook soon :)
so...now, im undecided between upenn and berkeley...now let's
see...upenn has a better bioengineering program but berkeley has better
(more well known) engineering in general. upenn is double the tuition
of berkeley. philadelphia is such an awesome city that i dont' think i
can pass it up for berkeley. upenn has more research opportunities /
internships available. berkeley is closer to home. i like upenn's
campus more than berkeley's (maybe that'll change after cal day...we'll
see) if i go to berkeley, i'll know like half the people there and i'll
probably feel more at home. upenn is probably less competitive than
berkeley, but then again, i'm kinda used to a competitive atmosphere
after ploughing through 4 years of monta vista...
yuppp...so those are my very random thoughts at 1am...any input on upenn or berkeley?
on a lighter note - break is totally awesome...sleep, hanging out, and
o yea...studying for APs...haha, notice how that's at the end of the
list of things-to-do =P

| it seems like i always have an urge to update when i have the most to
do...well, at least im being a good second semester senior =]
visited ucsd this weekend and that brought back many awesome
memories...i walked past muir college and i just started laughing cuz i
remembered all the crazy things diana and i did during those three
weeks...o mannnn, haha...the bioengineering program at sd sounded
pretty good, with its seemingly easy access to top-notch professors
and research/internship opportunities...pretty amazing
actually...i guess that explains why they're ranked 3rd in the nation
for bioeng...i also really enjoyed the food at the jacobs scholar
reception...this one dish with cheese and artichoke (i think) was to
die for, literally... the visit was fun, but i don't think sd is the
type of place i want to spend the next 4 years of my life in...sure,
it's relaxed and laid back, but maybe that's not what im looking for?
im not too sure yet, so visiting cornell, penn, and cal will sure help!
ahhhh, can't wait for east coast visits! :)
annddd, i choose the best weekends to be sick...haha, so, before i went
down to sd, i was kinda feverish and coughing, and of course the trip
didn't help...so yesterday night, after i got back home, i was coughing
like crazy and i couldn't really breathe...that scared me a bit...i
drank more water than i thought was possible and i think im officially
addicted to cough drops...xuan is so right...i slept for a good 14
hours last night, which felt amazingggg =] i need to make it a habit to
get at least 7 hours of sleep a night...being sleep deprived is not
cool...hmmm, that reminds me...
the phyiscs photo project is not cool
the un-started physics lab is not cool
being very behind on violin practicing when you have to make a recording soon is not cool
parents lecturing you about sleep is not cool
everyone watching a movie and spending time chilling with the relatives
except you (because of hw) is not cool...especially when you know
you're a 2nd semester senior and shouldn't be worrying about hw
anyways...
but...
there is a special someone out there that is cooooool beyond words...haha, just talking to you makes me happy =]
yay for the randomness of the day

interesting...so if you're bored you can fill it out for me and create

1. Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 18, and find
